That is a good question. How could a team be leading by 20 at the half and then lose by 12?

Marshall. I have never seen a more talented team play so bad. When they were in Birmingham they ignored their coach most Of the game. They are the second most talented team in the league behind Memphis. It makes you just scratch your head.

This game was do or die for Tulsa. The Hurricane came out with no energy and not guarding anyone the first half. Made adjustments during half time and just dominated the second.

Hey, congrats on the season La Tech is having. Looks like win 18 in a row is in the bag. Those last two games are gonna be tough though.

**FINAL**
in Hattiesburg,
Southern Mississippi- 88 (22-7, 11-3)
East Carolina- 69 (16-11, 7-7)

*Southern Miss bounces back from their road loss to Memphis by earning the season sweep of East Carolina in easy fashion. With the win, USM has locked down the #2 seed in the C-USA tourney. Southern improves to 11-1 at home this season. Despite the loss, the Pirates continue to have possession of the #4 seed in the C-USA tournament because they swept UAB and won @ Tulsa. Although ECU did lose, they still finished C-USA play with a solid 4-4 record on the road. USM finishes the regular season with a road game @ Marshall and then at home versus UCF. ECU finishes up at home against Tulane and Marshall.

ECU vs UAB and UTEP vs Tulsa (most likely) would be good games

If ECU drops one of their last games in the regular season and Tulsa has a definite possibly of winning the rest of theirs. Tulsa would pass ECU and lock up 4th or 5th place for the Tourny.

I see Tulsa winning their remaining games (SMU, @ Rice). I also see ECU winning their remaining games (Tulane, Marshall). I think UAB drops to the #6 spot because they will most likely lose at Memphis. All UTEP has to do to clinch the #3 spot is win either at home against Memphis or at SMU.

1. Memphis
2. USM
3. UTEP
4. ECU
5. Tulsa
6. UAB

I know it means an extra game instead of a bye, but the 6 seed path for Tulsa is preferable to 4 or 5. IMO.

I think that Marshall is scary talented.

Something just doesn't add up with that group.

UAB fans are thinking the same thing

vs Rice then vs UTEP is much easier

If both Tulsa and ECU win all their remaining games then with ECU holding the tie breaker. Everything will remain the same.
