Love these videos. And boy I hope Coney or Norvell win the backup QB job at some point this Spring. It's probably not going to happen but I'd like to see either of them slotted there so if UC gets into garbage time with a team they'll have valuable reps under their belt in prep for 2014.

In all honesty we have been for several years now.

I could listen to CTT talk all day. Didn't hear him say "hold the rope" one time.

Had a chance to go to practice this morning before the MBB. Hard to tell a lot about the nuts and bolts of the schemes from underwear ball in only the 2nd practice, but there's definitely a different vibe compared to the Butch regime. No microphones and PA systems with the HC yelling. Much less frenetic, but relatively intense. No chest bumping or rope holding. It was all business. Good number of junior recruits in the house. At least four skirmishes broke out and there seemed to be a lot of contact considering there were no pads. Most of the coaching came from the assistants. TT was a keen observer, but didn't interact much with individual players.
One thing I can say for sure, Jeff Luc sure looks the part. Got the feeling it will him on the strong side with Blair in the middle and Temple weak side when things go for real later this year. Only seemed to be a handful of snaps during eleven on eleven with the QB under the center.
Couple of players who I wasn't aware of caught my eye. Really quick, salty little guy named Chris Burrell who's a walk on that played at Temple and a big TE named Tyreek Burwell that is listed as a transfer.

So he took a year off after his sophomore year before ending up here? Is he a walk on?

On the roster he was listed as both a walk-on and transfer, so I figured it meant he had transferred here and has to set out a year, but hasn't earned a scholarship yet.

At the end of the video TT mentions players with injuries. Any idea on who these players might be?

Don't tell the ESPN - in the video when Tommy G asked about the 12/5 Louisville game in the snow, Coach said something along the lines of December 5th, I was here December 5th. Tommy G corrected him and Coach said or I was hired a couple days later. There it is....the proof the media needs that Tuberville was locked in here before he met with the recruits at the Texas steak house.

I didn't get that from the interview at all.

Regarding December 5th, the past few years we have had only one good weather game the last week of the season (2011 against UConn):


2009- at Pitt (snow)
2010- Pitt (snow storm)
2012- USF cold and windy
