Thought this was fitting. Pretty funny as well. The Burner did have an excellent career in the ATL. Anyone who has 60 TDs and over 6000 yards over that span will be loved by a fan base. The Burner was my original favorite NIU player, he repped our school in the NFL quite well.

How about the fact that at one point the Chargers had Tomlinson, Turner and Sproles on the depth chart.

The NFL is a cold business. Turner's performance last year was not worth the $7 million the Falcons would have had to pay to keep him him. Look for another team in need of veteran leadership to pick up Turner for less.

He may not be the featured back again, but he can still help a team. Then again, maybe he can rebound and be a real steal.

They way they did it. The fact it is in letter format and he has odd stories, I just got a kick out of it.

A friend of mine said he thinks the packers may take a look at Turner. That would be a good move by them, but man will that annoy me.

The Packers have zero interest in free agents unless they are willing to play for the league minimum.

I could see Detroit having an interest. They have zero running game.

Especially with so many kids to feed/support.

He may get signed after the draft to mentor a young RB.

In his eight years in the NFL, he has gone from the bench to the Pro-Bowl. He has much knowledge to impart to a rookie.
