A few years from now, will the national media try to claim that the likes of Georgetown and UConn are mid-majors? Should some "mid-majors" be expected to always beat "high-majors" like Ole Miss and TCU?

The media looks stupid for doing it now with us and a few others. The conference landscape will be so different in a few years I wonder if their terminology will catch up with the times by then.

They will have to readjust some. They will never try to paste the mid-major label to the C7 + the teams they add and rightfully so. That will be a really good men's basketball conference. I do think they will try to apply the mid-major label to some of the Big East, but will probably always go out of their way to exclude UConn, Cindy, Temple and Memphis.

In 2 years, Georgetown and UCONN will be playing in mid-major conferences. So yes, they may be called mid-majors.

I rarely see us referred to as a mid-major school- although certainly our conference is.

We are a major program- period.

Just the rare gimp trying to get a rise omits that.
