Split
Someone posted on the CR board the following:
The deal would have been exactly the same if Pitt, Syracuse, and Louisville had stayed in the Big East and UConn, Cincinnati, and USF had left for the ACC.

my question for C7 nation. If that had happened, does the split ever take place? My thought is the answer to that is no way. Even if ND leaves for the ACC.

I think then we have something like-
C7
Pittsburgh
Syracuse
Louisville
Temple
Memphis
UCF(would be in for Florida)
Houston
SMU
1 other for all sports, 1 fb only
Xavier
Butler

RE: Split
The big players holding the hybrid together were UConn, Syracuse and Louisville. If two of those three stick around, no split.
