Jerome Seagers has requested a transfer, and I doubt he'll be the last one to go. More will be leaving, or so the rumor goes...
That video might make it a bit difficult to deny a transfer.
All players would be eligible for a hardship waiver.

story just made the morning news shows. this will just blow up from here. tim p should have fired mike when the season ended. now no matter what he does it will look like he is only reacting to the video going viral.

RE: OT: Rutgers basketball coach heaving balls at players...
Rice is obviously fired now, and I am not defending him in any way, but he was disciplined over the incidents back in December. This is not some new scandal that Rutgers was trying to sweep under the rug as ESPN basically tried to portray.
Pernetti might have felt it would be too disruptive to fire Rice in mid-season after interviewing all the witnesses and current players, perhaps the buyout was too expensive, or maybe he thought Rice would get better with anger management.
I do agree that Rice should have been fired the morning after the season ended, for putting up yet another losing record, and have no idea why Pernetti let him hang around until ESPN aired an old video to basically force his hand. Bad move.
