He certainly didn't do anywhere close to the damage Van Exel did...I don't remember any daggers from Wagner actually

Before I open the thread the dreaded thought of Nick Van Exel came to mind. Some business partners and I had lunch with Penny and we were talking about that team. Huggins use older Junior College boys to build that team and how he had a gun slinger name Van Exel.
My son pick up a lot of choice curse words while watching those games with me.

We win that game we get THEIR seed and they get to go to play in Baton Rouge.

I'll always remember when Andre Turner cleanly blocked Wagner's last second shot from behind but was called for a foul. Milt hit both free throws and won the game by 1 point. Man, that still hurts me worse than the DWash missed free throws.

Andre also missed a front end of a one and one in that game. He makes both the game is over. No 3 pt shot in those days.
