RE: Bracketbuster Saturday
The EMU loss is really bad. Missouri State is down big time this year and had zero OOC wins against D1 teams coming in to the game. Wasn't there talk on here at the beginning of the season by some that EMU would be a sleeper this year. Looks like they haven't woken up yet.

UB had a chance at the end, had the last shot but without a timeout they failed to get a good look.
Tony Watson put up another 24 points. He has 79 points in the past three games, shooting 68% (19 of 28) from three.

MAC 4-3 so far, but those home losses hurt. All remaining games are on the road.

Final EIU 59 NIU 47. Pathetic. We were outcoached. Shooting was horrible again.

Wow, I just went to see what McNeese's RPI was and I was surprised to see Toledo's RPI at 173. I know that to most people, this isn't impressive but considering they are basically playing with walk-ons after #7 I believe and where they have come from the past couple years, it is totally impressive to me. Next year is going to be fun for Rockets fans with Drummond, Weatherspoon, Garber, Lauf, and Williams added to the roster.

The Spanish kid should be there, too. He was in the locker room at half.

RE: Bracketbuster Saturday
Bobcats didn't come to play tonite, but they didn't show up against any top 100 teams all year so its not a shock they lost composure and acted like a bunch of cry babies when things go wrong. No senior leadership from Cooper tonite. Bad shots, turnovers and yelling at coaches and teammates. Tonite looks like Memphis game all over where the team just folds when it gives up a big run on the road.gs Ohio doesn't have the same composure they had last March. They panic when things go wrong.

Why is that? I guess we don't need the additional exposure since we will probably just be picked up for more games on ESPN now with the BB dead... Or not...
There is an even bigger onus now on the MAC programs to schedule better and I doubt we will ever see as many hoops games with MAC teams featured on ESPN2 now that the BB is dead.
