But that's why you have to play tougher teams in December...so you learn early that you can't drive it inside all the time against a team with better athletes. I'm sure we'll make the CIT, but I'd like to make the CBI. NIT is likely out of the question.

I know a lot of Tulane fans don't like the head coach, but you are headed for your first winning season since 2007-08 and probably your first 20-win season since 1999-00, so he must be doing something right. Hopefully you get a bump in recruiting because of this season and moving to the Big East and the Green Wave can continue this momentum.

At least their two remaining away games are to C-USA's worst.

Ah, you know, it's just impatience. It's been slow slugging and we all want a miracle. Conroy had to totally remake the roster and we don't get the All Americans and go JC very rarely. We know he's a good teacher and pretty good floor coach. Just frustration. Tarrant and Davis are all league quality players, but we have pretty much no depth. A couple of freshman guards are promising, but we need some big guys. Might be a good time to hit the JCs for a forward.

I haven't read the entire thread so this may have been mentioned but it's even more amazing when you consider the injuries he's had to deal with.

He lost two big men, one to heart problems and the other to a career ending leg problem, before the season ever started.

One of our three returning players, and the best overall player of the three, played the first four games but hasn't seen the court since due to a leg injury.

Another player, the top-rated player in Oklahoma last year, missed the entire middle of the season with a leg injury and while he has returned and played well the last few games he's still playing with a brace on his leg.

When the above mentioned player returned we lost another big man for the season with a broken foot.

Another interior player, redshirt freshman, also missed 8-10 games with an injury but is back now.

Our backup point guard suffered a concussion in practice and has missed the last two games resulting in Freshman Shaquille Harrison needing to play almost 40 minutes per game.

Two other players, Woodard and Peete, have been playing through injuries for the last two or three weeks.

This team is young (I think I saw where they were the fifth youngest team in D-1), snakebit, and they are still going to finish way ahead of preseason predictions. Next year with Manning at the helm, some new additions including one or two JUCOs and these talented youngsters developing over the summer I expect this team to be in the post season somewhere and it wouldn't surprise me to see them playing for the CUSA title in El Paso.

Right now, there really are some pretty good coaches in CUSA.

Manning, Tyndall, and Pastner have all done a great job.

I said earlier in the thread that your team is basically high school players and a guy that looks like he should be playing at my local Y. Manning should be proud of what he has done this season.

I believe there is a certain ECU poster that thinks Lebo is better than them all combined.

A certain ECU poster who has made claims to not only the supreme greatness of every ECU player but of Lebo as coach supreme in CUSA....you might venture a guess as to whom we mean
