With the way the new BE contract is written there is 0 reason for BE to go to 12. No extra $$ for champ game, nor more schools. In fact it would be best if Navy changed their minds and we could hold at 10.

CUSA should just wait and see what happens next. If the ACC dominos start falling then Conference expansion will be crazier then ever. Just wait until the dust settles and see what is left for CUSA. Nothing may happen for years as the Maryland exit fee case is dragged around in court or as crazy as expansion is something could happen next week. Bottom line there is no need for CUSA to rush into anything...they already did that IMO and should have waited a little longer to see what happens.

Eh. I don't think that is that big if a deal. I wanted to see MTSU on the schedule for awhile. A team right up te road could be a nice rivalry.

The decision makers don't care about the games at all. They're a bunch of sad, impotent old men who've never had an altruistic thought in their lives, or even perceived economic value in anything other than a big stack of cash. They don't give a flip about sports, education, or anything other than piling up money and wasting it on their store-bought girlfriends.

difference is MTSU is decent at a few sports. Minus one football season, ULM SUCKS at everything except waterskiing...

Like him or not, I do think that Britt maintains a constant list of what he believes to be the best available programs and a consistent vision for what he sees as the conference's future. He's very methodical and process oriented while some others appear to go haywire during a realignment frenzy.

I wasn't a big Britt supporter during the first reorg, but I've come to much better appreciate his steady and methodical approach to realignment. He'll never be a demonstrative, flame throwing human dynamo of a conference leader but will be a stabilizing, level-headed leader through the storms of change.
