By paying attention

You lost a talented recruit for sure, but UT is still having a solid year recruiting. OL for the future and dbs that can play, nothing wrong with that formula. QB talent never seems to be a problem at UT.

I guess the kid can go and I hope we truly do have better arms already in the program. I guess that I'm more irked that it's Clawson who stole him vs. another non BG related coach. Thought we were done with him and then he sneaks up on us going out the door.

Never like losing recruit like Travis but it all starts with the line so lets hope the Rockets don't lose any of those guys. We have some good recruits coming in. Been reading and watching some video and I like what is coming to the Rockets.

Don't get me wrong the Oline is extemely important, but the QB wins you Championships. See MAC Champ the last 10 years or so. UT seems to always have pretty good Oline, but NO Championships for the last 10 years. We need a QB. I sure hope either Ely or Julien are the real deal.

I love the thought of competition. Especially at the QB spot. Woodside had a great sr yr. You aren't without talent if you account for 41 TDs I think thats what he had. By the way is that our former recruit in the wanted section again. Man talk about throwing your life away.

So what is the story on the kid from Cathedral Prep in Pennsylvania. Says he commited to that school south of us and they don't want him.

Toledo needs a QB either this class or for sure next year. Three QB not enough. I hear Ely is very smart and a hard worker. Let the competition begin.

Tough job, coaching. Coach K had some detractors here due to the way he handled some dismissal s. But this is pretty low.

I agree. If you're going to pull his scholarship, let him know right away. Don't not call him for a month, then a week before signing day tell him there is no room.

All state? Why would they do that without a reason? But what do expect from a place like that right? I'm hopping our coaches are looking into this. You never know where it could lead.

When others hear of this, BG getting recruits will be like the Browns getting a head coach. Thanks but no thanks.
