Unless we win every game from here on out and at least get to the tournament finals, I can't see an NCAA bid, but an NIT bid might be possible. We have developed a tradition in the past few years, so that could help in obtaining a bid somewhere.

After watching the win at ASU, My thinking was that the Gals could "win out". Now, after beating MTSU, I see no reason why they can't win the remainder, and even win the tournament. Foley has said that based on the talent he has that he decided he needed to be a defensive team. That's how they won at ASU and last night's game as well. Could that explain why Gault and Merriex are not starting? If they win out and don't win the tournament they will still have more than 20 Wins. Don't see why they should not get some kind of post season bid.

Best team in the league, that doesn't make the NCAA, goes to the WNIT. Assuming MTSU wins that tourney, that looks like WKU right now. I'll have to check our RPI, but I think we would have a very good shot at an at-large WNIT bid even if we don't get an automatic bid. That is based on how we are closing the season and our making the last 3 NCAA tourneys. I also believe are RPI is pretty good.
