Missing coach.
Just curious to learn how many of you Bronco fans noticed a bench coach missing.

Always proud to be a Bronco.

RE: Missing coach.
I heard after the game that it was his son's senior night in high school basketball.

I noticed he was missing with about 5 minutes to go in the game.

Didn't see it through the computer feed.

My guess by the comment of a Senior night that it was Monsignour Holland.

Maybe with the missing coach we would've covered?

RE: Missing coach.
Perhaps I was just testing the observation powers of the internet experts.

Every post does not have to have a major theme to it. Coach Hollan was attending his sons senior night and he was absent from the bench. If we want to discuss issues about it, then the game decisions were done with the coaching staff that was there. I found it interesting in the use of Darius Paul, but the sports writers have covered the subject nicely and I like the coaches (those that were present) thought patterns on why it was done.

EA3, I did not notice he was gone until later in the game either.

Always proud to be a Bronco.

Translated: I set directly in front of the bench, and my cronies and I figured out a coach was missing. Wow, talk about inside info!!!! Riveting stuff man, keep it coming. 03-zzz03-zzz

I don't even know what coach we are talking about. All I care about is Steve Hawkins and the starting 5.

Yup, that was what I thought the point of this thread was: for Acer to smugly point out a fact that could only be noticed in person for the sole purpose of trying to discredit the opinions of people who were not at the game.

That's that great, open and inclusive attitude that the GR gang has promoted over these all these years and decades. 03-2thumbsup

I was sitting about sixty feet down for Acer, but unfortunately I forgot to count the coaches, "as everyone normally does." 03-lmfao

RE: Missing coach.
I guess no one here thought the same as I did. This is a great thing that our head coach did for his assistant. Allow him to be with his son for one great event together and allowing him to see his son play. I just wonder..............how many of us would have thought of this?

That is right, I'm a company man, so I don't have an opinion.

Always proud to be a Bronco.

DB - You paint with too broad a brush. There are a lot of WMU fans in the Grand Rapids area. They make up a very diverse group.

RE: Missing coach.
Acer, that's fine that you thought that, but just come out and say it, don't beat around the bush with an "I know more than you" attitude.

And it's not like Hawk came up with the idea. He was approached and agreed. Something which 90% of bosses would do anyway, especially when there's nothing important going on at work that day (playing NIU).
