I admit, I am surprised that Bowling Green is handling WKU like they are. I thought Evansville was the only nonconference team with a chance at winning a series.

I am a little surprised that FIU is handling a CWS team that easily, but Stony Brook has a significant disadvantage this early in the year.

Wow.

Impressive.

19-3 so far this year. Not freakin' bad at all.

Those are $EC-like numbers.

We are ranked #3 conference right now, and missing 4 wins.

We're televising all home games this year, but we're at ASU so no TV for that series.

No problem. Here is little bit more information about it from our athletic website:

"MT10 is Middle Tennessee's non-profit, student-led campus television station, providing original programming and a local evening newscast. MT10 is available in Rutherford County on Comcast channel 10 and around the mid-state on AT&T U-verse channel 99. Electronic Media Communication major Jeremy Ball currently serves as the station's general manager."

stAte has basically the same thing. only we don't do baseball. we only do Basketball and Football. a couple of students (myself included) did a couple softball games but it was kinda difficult with just a couple of us working on it.

Its astonishing no one in our department will put forth the effort for baseball. Same thing happened when I was there...you would get lines out the door for football and basketball, and always someone ready to volunteer for Volleyball, Rugby and the ilk...but I was the only one ever willing to give baseball its due

A lot of people (students included) find baseball to be dull and boring.

Believe it or not its actually not the department this time. me and a few other students two years ago put a whole presentation together of the added benefits in experience in doing the games and got it cleared by the department and even the university. then we told them what kind of infrastructure we would need at Baseball field to use the TV truck along with platforms for the cameras and the university itself lost interest. Iv got some stuff kinda in the works though. if you want to know more just PM me.

softball isn't as quality of a broadcast as a baseball game would need to be. and it wasn't the department. basically the softball manager came to me and another guy and asked if we could do it. we basically took 2 SD cams and a sportscasting set out there and one of us called the game and handled the wide shot camera and the other did a hero cam shot. and we edited it together later. honestly it turned out pretty terrible. and we eded up just putting the games on youtube and not even broadcasting them on ASU-TV.

University puts it on. We just redid our production truck and now it is a top of the line piece of equipment.
