we lost the opening series last year to toledo. finwood didn't leave with selig. selig left almost a year and a half before finwood. also i think the team did really good to make the tournament last year. the last month of the season we only had 8 pitchers. also we lost 2b for the month of april and the ss for the last month of the season and still made the tournament. if you were there this weekend you would've seen that this team will win. were in a pitchers park and the pitching was really good except for hageman. they battled back friday. if we stay somewhat healthy we will win.

We lost our coach after last year to Duke, but replaced him with one I think will be just as good.
No big deal, so early, but App State is ranked Number 1 in Baseball RPI by Warren Nolan's rankings right now. That impressive win by one of our Sophomore pitchers, Jamie Nunn, who was offered a contract after the game, against #8 NC State with their all everything pitcher, Carlos Rodon, helped a lot. Hoping for another forty something win season, and all the way this year.

RPI after two games? Come on man. Nice performance, but being offered a summer league contract is not really breaking news.

also myers has had only 1 season. your acting like he has had a bunch of losing seasons.
finwood knew it was time to go. he saw the writing on the wall with all we lost to the draft in the summer of 2011. if cater, robbins, wetherell, davis, and our 2 top pitching prospects would of stayed, finwood would of stay.
