Please point out where in this article that it states that there is a prenup that gives the Departing Schools the rights to the Conference Name??? I'm sorry but I just don't see it. 
You didn't read the article then. Go back and read the part where the Aresco league sent the C7 an email asking questions about things like the name, leave date and MSG.

You have to admit.. You had to be expecting this result. It's not as if it wasn't out there that the Big East was moving forward with the name. (they wouldn't do so if it were not pretty much a foregone conclusion)
