0-0 in the 2nd, but Lee just had two HBPs in a row... bases loaded for SIU with only 1 out.

Sad, but true. That was one tenacious bunch of Salukis out there today, good win for them. Hopefully, UAB can and will "slap the collar" on them tomorrow...Make no mistake, though, for those of you planning on attending, dress warm! It was (bleeping) freezing out there today!!!! Brrrrrrr!!! In closing, great crowd on hand, strong number of SIU fans in the stands, very nice and humorous people (one of them was kind of enough to buy me a cup of hot chocolate), & they all warmed up to "Blaze", who put on a wonderful dance routine for everyone, and took a lot of pictures with the kids...I'm not just saying this as a UAB fan, but there's no doubt in my mind we are graced with the most lovable and admired mascot in Conference USA.
