US has bad drivers too... Difference is we have competent police and insurance companies.

No doubt about it. Just some of the crazy stuff I saw in compilations leads me to believe Russians love drunk driving and are relatively indestructible, so I give them the slight nod as worst drivers in the world

I have scars on my hand. It was long ago when I was in the USAF. I was sitting next to a window unit air conditioner. Lightning struck a tree outside the house, it went through the AC unit, onto my guitar.

It burned some hair off my head. Hurt like hell, when the jolt happened. Left a scar on my left hand. They observed me overnight. Not much you can do really after the fact. I had another lightning experience about 20 years later. I was on a golf course. Storm came up. I headed for the clubhouse. It struck, and left a hole in the cart. I rarely go outside if it's cloudy. It was a life changing experience.
