Austin Nichols is an absolute beast. Wonder which non-seniors we'll lose from this team. I'm thinking Geron Johnson and maybe Adonis. We'll be VERY solid next year no matter.

Memphis will be really good next year if those juniors don't listen to the outsiders and think they're ready for the NBA. None of them are ready yet. Add those juniors as seniors next year, with that phenomenal class coming in, and you could be looking at a Final Four caliber team. The question, can Josh Pastner coach them to a Final Four?

Hope not but I can see that. It must be difficult for him playing behind a freshman now. Noticed that Markel Crawford wasn't considered in the rankings since he was injuried last year. He's top 100 easy. So 5 out 5 recruits are top 100. I can see Black moving on, it's going to be crowded.

SMU is in the final list for Keith Frazier (#48 on that list). Pair him up with the rest of the recruits we have and it's a very solid class:

Yanick Moreira (arguably the best JUCO recruit in the country)
Sterling Brown (a high 3-star guard from Chicago)
Ben Moore (an underrated PF from Chicago who has had a good year this year)

Plus, we will have the following available next year (not available this year):

Blaise Mbargorba (rated 4-star, 92 overall rating recruit on ESPN - and the number 20 center - last year - been out with injury all year this year)
Crandall Head (rated 4-star, 94 overall rating on ESPN - number 23 shooting guard in the class of 2010 - transfer from Illinois)
Markus Kennedy (rated 4-star, 92 overall rating on ESPN - number 10 center in the class of 2010 - transfer from Villanova)
Nic Moore (former standout point guard at Illinois State who followed coach Jankovich to SMU)

What I'm saying is that Memphis and SMU are both doing their part to bring Big East basketball to a level that everyone will just forget about C7 ball.

My buddy is a ACC basketball fan. As he said today about the new big east Memphis and UCONN in the same league? That's gonna be epic!

This just means the fan base is going to be that much more upset when Memphis fails to win a big game. The meltdowns on that board are going to be epic...

I can honestly say that I don't have a clue what goes on within a Bearcat message board, and I really like the vast majority of the Cincy posters. 99% of them are great folks, but I couldn't begin to describe how they would react to losses.

It's just amazing to me that bounce would know what happens on a Memphis board......since he says he doesn't care one way or the other about Memphis.

I hope Memphis kicks butt....the NBE will need all the help it can get

I'll give you some insight here: when we lose the board gets nasty, backbiting, name calling, the sky is falling, the coach sucks, everyone knows better, the players don't have heart, the players are stupid with low IQ's, the refs screwed us, the season is over, we'll never win another game...basically it's epic meltdown every time.
