If current speculation proves to be close to reality, we are looking at a paltry 2MM per year from our Big East TV contract. While this is better than we currently receive in C-USA, it is obviously not a long term solution to keeping up with the Jones'.

To remain competitive as a national brand, give ourselves a leg to stand on in never ending facilities races, and hopefully position ourselves at the forefront of the next round of conference realignment, Memphis needs to look to additional sources to generate our own income in supplement of our TV deal.

There is probably not a magical undiscovered multi-million dollar gold mine under campus, but perhaps a combination of creative ideas could combine to give us a boost.

There are enough great business and marketing minds in this community to get the job done. Let's try to have some positive discussion on some revenue generating ideas...

Yep, for only 2 million a year I want a clause that says any game that isnt televised can be shown on PBS.
