RE: StadiumJourney.com visits every FBS CFB stadium and ranks their experience
The Tulsa review by Bradlee Ross is a complete joke. This guy doesn't know what he is talking about or had preconceived notions before he did his piss poor review. He raved on & on about how wonderful Stillwater is in his OSU review. I've been there many, many times & wonderful is never the word that comes to mind. He gave OU's baseball park a good neighborhood review because "only 30 minutes away" is Bricktown in OKC.

I will make an educated guess that Bradlee is an OKC resident & most likely an OSU alum. (I just googled his name... he is 24 years old & lives in OKC....big surprise ! ) OKC & Tulsa are rivals.

Remember that different people review different schools. Bradlee gave Tulsa poor ratings because he said there wasn't things for little kids to do. Bradlee apparently didn't know to go to Chapman Commons & see all the kid stuff. He rated parking access as poor because he had to park in a neighborhood & walk. He rated OU & OSU higher for parking....I've been to both venues & you have to walk much farther than at TU.

The Tulsa review is worthless. Bradlee only reviewed Tulsa in CUSA, not sure if the other reviews were as biased & useless.

When UNT's Apogee Stadium gets a 2* for the Neighborhood, and Houston gets a 3* for the Neighborhood, there is a problem with the rankings... the the writer's vision.

Same here unless he came down Dickinson after Stantonsburg from 264 from Raliegh. Rough stuff down that street.

Really? How about the old "Tobacco District" or some of the old run down houses you drive by on Farmville Blvd if you follow mapquest directions to campus? Down Stantonsburg Rd to Farmville Blvd across Memorial..... ghetto ass convenience stores "G'ville stop #1" and "G'ville Stop #2". I can keep going. Again, if you don't know where you are this is probably how a GPS will direct you to go.

Not saying anything, but this is the same one from years ago, they just udated pic that you can find on google. ECU played at UCF. The review for ECU is from 2009. It has said the same thing ever since then. Their review is for the 2009 43,000 seat DFS. Oh, their stuff about Greenville is way off. No major highway????? HWY264 to Raleigh anyone, turn left on Greenville Blvd. keep straight, after leave 70 mph speed limit non-stop to Raleigh. Turn right you'll hit 11 to Kinston, 60 mph, after about 25 minutes you hit HWY 70 and 70 mph to the coast or back towards I-95 and/or Raleigh. Duh.

I've been to many stadiums in my short time, but damn I do look up stuff on the stadium before I go, like where to park, where shuttles bus are (if needed), Hotels, and best ways to get to the major HWYs in the area.

Don't get me started on the "burned out buildings" thing. Yeah, if you come into Greenville from 264 and take the most direct route to the stadium, you will pass threw part of the "Hood", but that doesn't represent Greenville, just that neighborhood. Besides, a large part of that area is being bought out for the 10th street connecter and most of those buildine will be leveled.

There is more, but I'll leave it be. I've posted comments on there site, and asked them to come back and review the stadium since the expansion. No replays, and my comments were removed.

GPS does take you that way, right threw the that area with the boarded up houses, either closed by the police or bought out for the 10th street connecter. That area from Dickerson to Downtown(10th/half of 9th street) is just bad and needs to be dozed.03-banghead

just signed up to become a member, this is intriguing stuff...kind of surprised at the ranking on Tulsa, though. Not at all where "Lesion" Field is concerned.

Dude, our concessions suck. Not asking for a 4 star meal, but why can't you and why would you not want to offer quality concessions? Look at it this way...if you are not putting a quality product on the field, you are not selling tickets and you are losing money. Same can be said for concessions. Tickets buyers are already there, why not squeeze a few extra dollars out of them?

A Wake Forest University grad that worked at the Wilmington StarNews, which hasn't had great coverage of ECU or favorable coverage at times. Something about UNC-Wilmington and some of the staff writers at the StarNews. There is so much demand for coverage of ECU that the paper has to cover us, but they sure do show at times their dislike for ECU at times.

Seeing how the article is about two years old now, it still reflects JRF pretty accurately. We do have very fickle fans. Incredible atmosphere when we are winning, but absent when playing poorly. The neighborhood is not bad or dangerous, but just not very entertaining. It is an older neighborhood with very little entertainment spots. Also, no more Papa Johns. We now serve Marco's Pizza which, IMO, is much tastier than the Papa's! Our food is pretty boring/standard overall, but after a full day of tailgating, I rarely eat anything inside the stadium anyway. Easy access and a great value for the family. While the stadium may not be full, visiting fans will definitely have an enjoyable experience.

Most of these stadium reports were done by local free-lance bloggers (many that pollute some of the worst college football sites)

Heck, the one written up about UCF was done by a Gator fan who started up a fire the UCF Coach website a few years ago.

All of the reviews aren't 2 years old.

Ranking the stadiums based on those "reviews" makes no sense because there didn't appear to be much continuity between reviewers.

I used to live on west 8th. $400 for a 3 bedroom 1200 sqft apartment and never had to drive to go downtown. Sadly my old apartment has already been bulldozed. I think a new bankruptcy court or something is going there. It's Dickinson, not Dickerson, but I'm sure that was probably an autocorrect.

We do have boiled peanuts.

I'm OK with the parking situation. I park in the dust bowl by Elam Arms for most games. Last year's season opener was crowded and I had to park well up the US49 service road. But it still wasn't a horrible walk. I had my three year old with me and I got only minimal complaints.

Perhaps he was thinking of the time that the soccer team played a game against a Mexican team or did they? He didn't like the nachos. I like those kind of nachos that they sell there because they're different from the ones our Mexican families make for parties, it is a good change of pace, no pun intended. He did a good job and I'm sure some of the new members of our conference will be impressed with the digs.

Hell, we played Dillard's. Mexico's a whole countty.
