Tournament Seeding
Let's say we win out (less Memphis ). I'd be correct in saying we'd be the 3rd seed in the tournament? That would be a heck of a turn around. Someone who is better at determining these things can chime in...

Depends on what the other teams do of course, but yes we have a chance to get an opening round bye, which is what we want anyway.
Seeding doesn't matter as much because sooner or later you have to beat someone.
Yes, I know we haven't beaten Memphis in a while.

RE: Tournament Seeding
This year, the top 5 seeds will get a first round bye, since there will be no 12th team due to UCF's shenanigans.
Right now, it appears Memphis and USM will be 1 and 2 unless there is an epic collapse. UTEP lost to Tulsa, but still has a 1.5 game edge on the 3-seed. UAB is only 1 game back from a tie for 5th place, which would earn a bye. There's still a ton left to play for!
Another interesting fact: We have played 6 Top 50 opponents, which is more than any other school in the conference currently.

That UTEP win will prove to be huge if we handle our business and win.
