New DB Coach
Northern Illinois: Sources tell us that Alabama defensive quality control coach Kelvin Sigler has joined the staff and will coach the defensive backs.

Kelvin Sigler (20) was a starting safety for the Crimson Tide from 1996-98.

RE: New DB Coach
With out a doubt this ensures future recruiting ties in Alabama. Probably won't do anything for us in Florida.

Would be good if someone on the board could list out all the coaches and the recruiting areas each one has ties to and is responsible for. Do we even have anyone in South Florida (Miami area) at this point? or is it just the Panhandle and Tampa areas?

He coached HS football in the Mobile area. NIU has found some success recruiting Mobile the last couple years, so could give us another boost down there.

Considering Kane was the one who got Robert Jones, he has to have Miami ties.
