Then why not only read, but post in a thread dedicated to it?

Some of the most admirable Rice students I have ever known, and one of the most thrilling Rice sporting events I have ever attended, were in women's basketball. I care.

the fact that only Braun is gone and not Williams seems to indicate to me that he's going to take a more wait-and-see approach on women's hoops.

Sadly, I agree. But like another poster said and I agree, many would leave if it weren't for the Rice education, he needs to take a hard look at the program and Williams if we want to see a successful team anytime in the near future.

Engaging in personal attacks while hiding behind anonymity is sure evidence of a gutless loser. If you have any backbone at all, you are welcome to call me. My number is 713-269-5061.

Obviously all of us on this thread. Why are you here if you don't give a s***?

The timetable on the women's side is a little more relaxed, IMO. Football (primarily) and MBB are the drivers of conference realignment; we need to get our house in order there ASAP before we get left behind. We can afford a wait-and-see approach with WBB. Still, would like to see this problem resolved sooner rather than later.

Not sure we can "afford" a wait-and-see approach, but it looks like that is what will happen. I do believe Karlgaard will make neecessary changes when he has the chance to review Rice wbb.
