HATTIESBURG — For most of this basketball season, Southern Miss had relied on its press and matchup zone defense to confuse and confound its opponents.

On Saturday afternoon at Green Coliseum, the Memphis Tigers shredded both.

The Golden Eagles could not get the ball out of the Tigers’ paws nearly enough, nor could they keep the Tigers from making baskets from all over the court.

tyndall seemed very complimentary and I can't blame him. The Tigers were on fire. Well-coached, good players. lol but that's true this time, USM is actually pretty dang good.
