I'll admit it, Pastner had them well prepared for this one
This was the best job he's done in all aspects of the game. This group of players is coming together.

Perhaps our best win of the season. On the road against a good opponent. Hard to say how good they are because the cusa teams get discredited a bit when they shouldn't and some are really bad. Hope USM keeps winning. Very important that we win when we play them at home in the Forum. It stinks that we cannot slip but that is more or less the reality.

But...but...but... all the experts on this board have been screaming that Pastner can't coach? He's just a great recruiter.

Everyone said the Tulsa win was our best game last week.
Now this one.
We are playing very well.

There shouldn't be anything hard about admitting it. If the team blows, the coach should take at least part of the blame. When the team plays like we did today, he gets a share of the glory. For most rational people, that's just the way it goes. He did a good job managing the game, and the players came through with an incredible 56% shooting performance and lock-down defense. There's enough praise to go around, today! Way to go Tigers, one and all!

Yep, good game. We even looked pretty good against the press. Passed the ball to the right places and moved the right ways.

Tight rotation too, no Fero or Stan, stuck with his guys after AB went down. Wilson was solid in the few minutes he got.

There are some posts right now trying to bait the Miserables to join in. If I'm a miserable for pointing out concerning things, what does that make me when I point out the good??? A logical person maybe. Great game. They were prepared and Geron Johnson & Crawford didn't hurt either.

Why do you have to "admit it"?

Agreed...
The difference is when they make outside shots offensively we look alot better. When they miss guys don't adjust well to having to attack the goal to score.
Defensively we looked about the same as we have for a while.

Good use of Shaq at high post today.
It seems the "Memphis" class has finally learned their role on the team. This team, if they stay healthy, could do some damage postseason.

Good players make the coach look really good. Every coach will admit that. Now when the good players listen to the coach, like they are now, then the coach is really, really good. Coach Pastner is learning and is imparting his will on the team, the will to win.

You're just smarter than everyone else I guess.
We played an excellent game. Big win on the road. Maybe this is that 'fork in the road game' we've all been waiting for. With this much talent we should be having games like this more often than not. That's been my frustration.
Anyway, it was nice to see us play to our potential.

You do realize that Mr Easterwood is a highly experienced AAU basketball coach, right?
