Perhaps there's enough consistent activity here to move OVCbbs to the Active Boards, and elect a moderator?

Active boards? It looks like these boards are active already. What is the benefit, if any, of being "moved to the active boards" and what exactly do the "active boards" mean? What is the benefit of having a moderator? I kind of like things the way they are right now. It's not broken, so it probably shouldn't be fixed.

Right now OVCbbs is in FCS Proving Grounds. We have conferences organized as follows:

Active (Long term active)

FCS Proving Grounds (FCS conferences showing signs of life)

Inactive (No current activity)


Right now OVCbbs is in FCS Proving Grounds. But you guys have been keeping this place going for awhile it seems. The upgrade to Active inclues a team skin (examples: http://uab.csnbbs.com ... http://mac.csnbbs.com ). Also, you can elect a moderator if you wish. The mod is there to clean up drive by spammers or any other mess that occurs.

Sounds like we don't necessarily need to vote on a mod right now, but if things become problematic we could deal with it then. Otherwise it sounds like it's just recognizing that there is interest on this board so I'm all for it as just the skins will give us much more legit appearance. Do we need to do anything else or is it just up to you and or a general consensus?
