Yup, sitting 85 feet away in the student section and I could see it was a 2 live.

The zebras were OFFENSIVE

1-26 from 3 did us in tonight...nonetheless, another awesome effort from the guys...VERY proud of this team, regardless of the record!

I have never felt this happy or proud after a loss. I don't know how I feel about that, but those kids played their collective asses off tonight. What a fun game and great atmosphere. It felt good for the kids to get a chance to experience that atmosphere in such a tough year. Al of you in attendance should pat yourselves on the back for the love that was shown for our kids tonight.

Sadly, I have to admit they got it right on the 2/3 shot. That was one of the few calls they got right all night. I have never seen a team go 15 minutes into a half with only one foul! That was ridiculous.

Heartbreaking loss, but the guys showed a lot of heart and determination. Hope this team continues to show up the next 7 games!

that was a fun game to watch and I'm actually looking forward to the rest of the season now. all but one game is going to be televised...Batten needs heavy minutes to close out the season.

One note - I LOVED how the guys were aggressive in taking it to the rack during the game. Lots of dribble penetration, nice cuts to the rim, and good finishing. Actually looked like some ballers out there for once.

If we could have hit the ocean from 3 we would have won that game going away. 1-26 from 3 pt. land really isn't going to win you many games. Clean that up and we'll be in much better shape and will be able to compete with any team in this lousy excuse for a basketball conference.

During the game on Saturday, Feinstein (derp) said that this performance by Batten was not expected. Couldn't be farther from the truth. We knew what Batten was capable of after the promise he showed last year. He is a rhythm shooter. He needs shots and cannot be constantly taken in and out of the game (i.e. Taylor ball). Like I said before, Blaine getting axed was the best possible thing to happen to Batten.
