IT CERTAINLY LOOKS LIKE THE "BIG EAST" NEWBIES BENEFITED IN RECRUITING-NOT
MARSHALL, SOUTHERN MISS, TULSA, ALL HAVE BETTER CLASSES THAN ALL OF THE NEW BIG EAST TEAMS EXCEPT HOUSTON. HATS OFF TO HOUSTON BUT FOR THE OTHERS LIKE ECU,MEMPHIS,UCF,AND SMU, IT LOOKS LIKE BUISNESS AS USUAL. I UNDERSTAND STARS ARE NOT EVERYTHING BUT DON'T TELL THE OTHER "BIG" BOYS THAT. LOL

UCF did just fine, they only have 18 kids because of schollie losses. small class = lower ranking. 11 of 18 were 3 star kids, and we also brought in a transfer that didn't count. He was a 3* that FSU initially got, before he went to ND.

USM brought in 26 kids with an average of 2.28
UCF's average was 2.61.

USM= quantity.... UCF= quality.

I knew this would spice things up a little. USM needs all the help we can get at this point so I'm only hoping we improved. One thing is for sure though, our defense will be stout if all of the DL we signed make the grades. Christopher Robinson, Rod Crayton, and Dylan Bradley will give all of you nightmares for years to come.

Actually, it's houston and smu followed by the three C-USA teams mentioned. That's according to Rivals.

As for Alford - yep, we did get him. Sent his ass packing too. Got him over several high end cartel schools. Haven't you ever gotten a kid who just didn't work out? Didn't come close to being able to transfer his high school talent to college? Well, when that happens and you tell him he's gonna have to change positions if he wants to play, if he's a gamer he'll change positions; if not, well, he'll leave. He left.

He's at op now but with his required year to sit out and his 600k contract with the Blue Jays I doubt anybody has to put up with him or his lame ass loud mouth and abusive momma at the college ranks ever again.

Heck, Houston was recruiting just as well when in C-USA too.
So what's the problem?
You should be thrilled to be in the C-USA/Sunbelt.
