To prove your point, there were NO Toledo players invited to the Combine. That alone is an indication as to its worthlessness. I would have expected that all of Toledo's seniors would have been invited. This world is coming apart!

Yea, what the heck is that about. Toledo has more players in the NFL then every team in the MAC except...........wait for it..............Kent State.

There is one player from the MAC invited and he's from UMASS.

This isn't a big deal at all...Progar, Moore, Melvin, will all get ample chance to play on Sundays.

I'm surprised Moore or Progar isn't there, but the fact is we didn't have a STAND OUT nfl player like some of these other teams. That actually speaks to how good our team was with no one or two specific senior players.

I figured the CMU OT would be there as well since it's pretty much a consensus first round pick.

I was on the NFLCombine site and you could sort all of the invitees by conference/school...the only guy who populated for the MAC was the guy from UMASS. Thought it was strange but didn't do anything to double check that either hah.

Zac Dysert started a million games for Miami and I'm still not sure what to think about the guy. He passes the eye test but didn't win much. Maybe he stands out if/when he gets on a good team? Really can't tell.

FSU ended up with 13 invites this year which is the most it has had in quite a while. Just shows how good NIU was in the OB and deserved to be there by keeping the game close. Most invites are due to good agent representation or school affiliation.

I am sure NIU players will have a chance to make their mark in the NFL without the invite.

This is what kept me from being angry about the OB. Yes, I would have loved to win, but FSU has some of the best talent in all of college football.

It was disappointing the offense didn't make more plays when they had the chance. Mostly because you knew there weren't going to be a lot of chances against FSU.

I still keep getting comments on the OB. I was getting a haircut this morning (don't laugh, NIU007!), and my barber was telling a customer that I went to the OB. This customer (an old fart who was probably connected to the mafia) started in on NIU not belonging in the OB, never played a good team, etc. My barber defended NIU saying that they did belong and played by the rules. I then went into a tirade about other schools like ND that "did not belong" in the games. My NIU sweatshirt was covered up by the sheet covering. Then when the barber removed the sheet and I also put on my NIU coat, the old fart back-tracked, said he liked NIU, and actually knew something about the team. He said he wished we got into the Big 10. I guess there's no cure for senility!
