In other words, more of the same that has already failed repeatedly, and setting ourselves up for complete collapse later is more "responsible" than feeling a little short term pain. He even uses the CBO 10 year projections to make his argument, even though the 2003 CBO 10 year projections predicted we'd have a $5.6 trillion SURPLUS from 2003-2012.

The problem with that kind of thinking is that "eventually" never gets here.

For the record... it's not a death panel that sounds too negative, it's a "choices panel" and the choices are who gets to live and who dies.

Robert, you don't have an opinion on how much money you should be able to keep from your labor, or how much you might need to live on, and so on? How about we start with 75% tax rate on YOU, does that work? Ponder it for a while and let me know if your rate is too high.
