USMNT vs Hondurus.....is it on TV?
Is the game on TV today? I'm in Nashville, but I can't find it.

BEIN HD Sport... if you have it.

Howard is playing well, he's faced some tough shots. Honduras is playing well...

Don't have it, but I found it on my computer. Both goals were impressive.

The feed sucks for me and it distorts some things, but are we playing slow?

The announcer even said as good as Jozy is, we aren't playing a 'fast' XI today. Says only one wing has plus speed.

Still if you play ball control, you will look slow at times...

Both goals were gorgeous.

Wish i hadn't of found it. Defender had to see Howard had it covered. If you are going to clear it why clear it toward middle of goal?

We need 16 points. No team has not finished 4th or better in the Hex with 16 points and actually 16 pts would put you in 3rd every time too depending on GD. So, basically 10 at home and 6 on the road. We have 4 road games to pick up 6 pts and 5 home games to pick up 10.

They've should get a bare minimum of 12 from 5 home games.

I would hope so but you figure that we will lose to Mexico we would need 4 wins from 4 home games. I assume we slip up somewhere else.

True. I think they can beat Mexico in Columbus, but not guaranteeing it by any means.

RE: USMNT vs Hondurus.....is it on TV?
Well after Day 1 of the Hex the Group looks like this

Honduras 3pts
Jamiaca 1pt
Mexico 1pt
Costa Rica 1pt
Panama 1pt
USA 0pt

Definitely not great, but not bad either especially after our loss today. As for today I hope all US fans that have barked and yelled for a younger center back in place of Bocanegra see that right now Bocanegra is the best we have even with his age.

Mexico's draw was damaging as well, b/c it was at home. Not a great day for the US, but we can recover.

Bocanegra's been injured so who knows what his fitness level is. Furthermore, there's a very real possibility that he doesn't make it to Brazil. Cameron and Gonzalez are the future pairing, but they need time together.

With all of yesterday's results, the US isn't in terrible shape.

Bocanegra was hurt in November I'm sure he is fit. I like Jurgen, but he is stubborn when it comes to changes. Yesterday he made changes in the wrong spots on the field. It was obvious from the get go that we were having problems in the center of the backline. Bocanegra was sitting on the bench he could have put him in.

Again I go back to what I said. Fact is Bocanegra is the best we have at centerback at this point in time

I don't disagree with this and Bocanegra is a big part of the team's next cycle, but we have to work in the younger players. I'm okay with doing this in a game we want, but don't NEED points.

We'll see, the back 4 is in the middle of a rebuild. Here's hoping it gets better as we develop.
