St. Joe's @ Dayton
St. Joe's travels to the Buckeye State to take on the Flyers of Dayton. Can Dayton knock the Hawks down to .500 in A-10 play as they themselves fight their way up to the middle of the pack. Im not familiar with how each of these teams are playing but i'm just going with my gut and saying Dayton continues to struggle.

St. Joe's wins by 7 on the road.

RE: St. Joe's @ Dayton
Dayton comes off its worst A10 shellacking in years after losing at Saint Louis 81 to 53 on Saturday. Senior C Josh Benson was relegated to the bench but still led the Flyers with 12 points. Fifth-year senior and all A10 preseason selection PG Kevin Dillard was held to two points in the first half, this coming off a scoreless first half at Xavier the game before. Rumor is that both seniors are not "Archie Miller guys" and are about to check out on the second year coach for the season. The rest of the lineup, including G-town transfer Vee Sanford is limited at best. A loss tonight will drop Dayton down to 2 and 6 in the conference and a good choice to likely be out of the A10 post-season tournament in Brooklyn. Only 12 teams go in the 16 team league. Dayton is currently the 13th team with usual conference dregs Fordham, Rhode Island and Duquesne below them.

St. Joe's was the preseason pick to win the A10 but have had a hard time finding themselves so far. An early season victory over Notre Dame was followed by losses to ranked teams like Creighton (Omaha) and Butler (in Philly), but further perplexing with home loses to Fairfield and conference foe St. Bonaventure. Further confounding the issue is that St. Joe's returned all five starters and their sixth man and five of the six made some sort of all A10 team last year (Jones, Galloway, Kanasevic, Roberts (6th man) and Aiken (defensive POY)). Short of those six, thereis little to no depth on Phil Martelli's roster and Kanasevic was suspended for fingering theNova crowd on making a three in a game earlier this year at Nova. A game St. Joe's led until Kanasevic ignited a docile crwod and the game turned in Nova's favor.
