ok back now after TxState has "played some games"

lets see TxState was 4-8 last year in their first year in D1-A football....they sold out their first game in their newly expanded stadium and actually had overflow seating as well......advantage TxState over north Texas state that has never come close to selling out their new stadium with two ponds and a bridge in two years

north Texas state was 4-8 last year in their 18th season since returning back to D1-A football......at best a "tie"

TxState went to UH to open the season and kicked the crap out of UH.......UH later kicked the crap out of north Texas state at UH......advantage TxState

TxState beat Stephen F. Austin a D1-AA team for one of their 4 wins.....north Texas state beat Texas Southern.......a much much crappier D1-AA team for one of their 4 wins......advantage TxState

TxState beat two of the crappiest teams in D1-A for two of their wins....NMSU and Idaho.......north Texas beat two of the crappiest teams in D1-A for two of their wins USA and FAU.......again a tie at best

north Texas state did beat a good Louisiana team, but TxState still had the win over UH while UH kicked the crap out of north Texas state.....so even if you say that north Texas state had the better single win against a D1-A team TxState still had the head to head win over a common opponent and kicked the crap out of them while that common opponent kicked the crap out of north Texas state just a few weeks later and for TxState it was a win against a fellow Texas team and in Houston which has a large contingent of TxState students and alumni so it was a very well published win and really got people talking about the program.....and it was a WIN for their first ever D1-A game on the road

really when your program is in the 18th season being back in D1-A and you are still talking trash to other programs in their first season in D1-A that also have a 4-8 record against very similar levels of competition and even a big win over a common opponent......well you are really just an idiot that is cheering for a program that is very likely to be left behind by yet another D1-A Texas program
