#26 lost to unranked but getting votes Texas Tech(who later lost as well)
#28 South Florida lost to unranked Rutgers
#26 being Oklahoma State.
After what happened to the UT football team the week after they were first ranked and more recently after what happened to the Akron's MBB team the first week after they were ranked I'm not sure if I want to see the Lady Rockets ranked at this late date in the season or not (tic---kinda).

We will be ranked tomorrow, so the time to step it up is now.

The next game against BSU means nothing interms of the MAC title.
The FB game against BSU was a precursor to the NIU game. The MAC title was far from decided.
If Toledo shoots 27% from the floor against BSU they may lose the game.
As long as the win the next two games who cares.
When last were the Lady Rockets at the Big Dance?

Why is the BSU game important? The RPI is at a marginal level, some of the teams around the Rockets on the list are on the bubble. So if they were to lose the BSU game they would most likely fall far enough to have no chance of an at large invitation to the big dance. That would make the tourney do or die. But if they were to beat BSU and lose a close game in the MAC final, they might squeeze into the NCAA with a 28-3 record.

Point taken. I would love to see the Lady Rockets close out the season in style.

Great, now lets show the nation why we're ranked and win our conference tournament. Without that, we don't have much.

In football we broke into the top 25, then played Ball St. and lost.
WBB breaks into the top 25, and who is next on the schedule? Ball St...

HELP!!!! I don't understand pollsters in NCAA AP Poll. North Carolina losses and stays the same in ranking. Texas A&M with 9 losses still ranked 19th?????? Even worse LSU who was ranked in the 30's last week and has 10 losses and last week beat the aforementioned Tex A&M and an unranked Alabama moves up some ten spots ????????? I am thrilled with UT being 25th but should be 23rd or 24th but the above just shows how rediculus these polls are IMHO.

Wow! That makes no sense! I feel like WBB voters just vote on name (school & conference) recognition.

Playing some Big Ten teams wouldn't help the SOS because only Penn State is ranked. Except for Dayton and Charlotte (A-10), PSU, Green Bay (Horizon or Summit), Delaware (Colonial I believe) and Toledo, all the other ranked teams are from the SEC, ACC, PAC 12, Big 12, or Big East.

Beating a good Ball State team adds to UT's momentum and confidence. Akron out of the East along with Central Michigan and Ball State should all make noise in the MAC tourney.

Central is struggling without their point guard who had the season ending ACL injury. I wouldn't be surprised to see them have an early out.

It could be worse. Quinnipiac who is also 26-2, and has a slightly better SOS than UT in the RPI formula, is getting zero votes in either poll. So, at least UT is getting a little bit of recognition.

I would live to see JMU play Toledo. Would be a fun game. Delaware is probabaly going to be really bad next year. They lose all of theor seniors, including Elena DD.

Let's face it...Womens NCAA hoops is really a joke...over the years they have gone out of their way to protect the elite programs by giving lousy seeds and game sites to mid majors like MAC teams...bottom line is you have to WIN!!! The only way to get around this is to get in the tourney and win games...plain and simple...we will not get a good seed, home games, you name it until we win consistently. Lets hope this is the start of that for our WBB...Go Rockets!!

I wouldn't call it a joke. Generally, teams get home games based on attendance. They aren't going to put games in areas that don't support women's hoops. It is definitely unfair to the Toledo's of the world.
