Quincy is starting to show that he is a real threat to shoot it. That helps free up TJ, Swing, and even Rob for some open looks.

And again, I have yet to hear anything about Hoopy? Is he injured or what?

Rucker really was not effective tonight and that hurt. Had we not shot the ball so well from behind the arc we wouldn't have had a chance at all. At least Rod was 5/7 from the line.

We really couldn't penetrate their zone defense for anything else.

I asked Drew on twitter if he knew anything and he said he thought Hoopy is out of the rotation because Quincy is playing better. He also said he hurt his ankle a month ago.

We really couldn't penetrate their zone defense for anything else.

Or when we did, we would get grabbed and hacked but without a foul call. So we had to do what worked. And tonight, that was dribble penetration and skip passes for 3pt shots. Actually our offense tonight reminded me a bit of the way Memphis has played the last couple years.

Another stat anomaly.
We had the fewest rebounds this year - 22 rebounds. What is surprising and I don't think I have ever seen this is that we had more offensive rebounds (13) than defensive rebounds (9). Probably because USM was not missing, and our misses were the only rebounds available.

Yep, that explains that stat.
