I don't think that this is a shock or new information. It's been 50/50 around here on whether he goes to the NBA for next year, or at most plays one year at PC. He'd be amazing for the Friars. Not sure why KMac wrote the column today.

Only surprise from that article was that Providence is allowed to accept/enroll a partial qualifier to their Univ Athletic Program (NCAA requires said player to sit out for a year).
Thought that was one of the rules that the Big East Conf (for football and basketball) did not allow (enrolling of partial/non-qualifiers).

Providence announced before the game ( Villanova) sophomore forward Sidiki Johnson has taken a voluntarily leave of absence from the program. He averaged 3.9 points and 5.1 rebounds in 11 games.
