Akron has a pretty good chance to extend the streak atleast for three has more weeks. Akron has a game @Ohio and a bracketbuster.

Dambrot said in the postgame that he thinks this team still has a lot more potential.

It's also nice to see an almost all freshman lineup hold their own for significant stretches of tonight's game.

It's a shame only one MAC team will see the tourney this year.

If the MAC can go undefeated in bracketbuster, Akron and Ohio both 15-1 in the MAC its possible both make the NCAAs.

Unlikely but a small chance.

RE: Guess who currently has longest winning streak?
Ohio came out strong the first 12 minutes then things fell apart with poor shot selection and not getting back on defense. Baltic was invisible while Cooper and Offutt struggled. Those three have to play well for Ohio to win on the road vs a taller team with good shooters. Akron played very well the last 28 minutes. Deep and outplayed Ohio starters. Ohio's bench kept this one from getting ugly. Ohio's starting five was terrible today. All of Ohio's road loses have looked the same. They play well first ten minutes then give up a big run and its good nite. Not very strong mental toughness. Kent St and WMU were the only games where Ohio weathered the runs on the road against decent teams. Ohio were lucky to escape those games. Ohio feast on turnovers. Protect the ball and Ohio can beaten on the road. Akron has the experience to handle the pressure that Ohio brings. Akron looked like the better team today.
