I stopped reading it, because miner fans going at each other, was just a complete turn-off.

It is pretty crazy over there. I haven't posted anything over there in almost three years!

What exactly is there to be negative about? Football will get better and bball will become outstanding. We likely will be .500 or less in Kugler's 1st year but Price and his predecessors always had us in the lower half of the conference with the exception of a few seasons here and there. I read Digs from time to time.... The reason I don't post there, is that I hate watching Miner fans turn on each other....

But most of all, I wouldn't care to deal with the ***** posters like Doubts, Realm, and other tools.

I wish the other good posters would come around here more often.

I've never posted at Diggs because I thought it was a pay to play forum.

I know there is a pay to play forum for the miners somewhere I just don't remember the name of it.

Not surprised to hear Miner fans turn on each other though. Being a Miner fan can be extremely frustrating.

They can't seem to decide what direction they want the athletics program to go.

You're complaining about $200. My 8 year old son probably spends more from his allowance on UTEP games than you do.

You give your son $200 to spend at UTEP games?

I would be more than happy to spend money at UTEP games if they actually put a decent product on the field.

He can spend his allowance on whatever he chooses, as long as it is not detrimental to him. He buys himself a drink, and a churro at every game, sometimes he buys himself nachos. He doesn't complain near as much as you do, thank goodness.

Never again? Because the Miners lost a lot of games? Except for the SMU game, I can't think of one bad experience at the Sun Bowl this year. I'm a fan though. I pay to support UTEP. They don't have to win to get me to buy season tickets. I want them to win. I hope they win. But I will be a season ticket holder regardless.

To me, half of the fun of attending the game is being around my loved ones.

So maybe the "never again" was attributed to something other than the miner's performance.

There you go. An actual post that makes sense. I take issue with the word "waste" but I can relate and understand your post. Instead of being the "alternative opinion," just keep it real like the above. We absolutely don't have to agree on everything. It is just really lame when "people" disagree on purpose for the purpose of dialogue.
