This is the most active I've seen the team since that first half against Louisville. If we play this way down the stretch we can win two or three games in the NCAA tournament.

RE: Tulsa @ Memphis.
This is the team we have. We still made mistakes and had some bad possessions. But we played with intensity and played hard for the whole game. This is the potential I was talking about. Intensity is key :)!

If you look at many of the games Memphis has played, they would build a big lead but then let up and let the other team back in. Today they didn't let up.

We've been up double digits anywhere from 12-27 -30+ n many of ours games and let teams back in the game.

Great game Memphis. If you guys hit 3s like you did today, you're gonna be tough to beat, not just in CUSA, but also in the NCAAs.

Tulsafanzz, the Golden Hurricane looks completely different under Danny M than they have in previous years. There was a period in the first half where they had a few fast breaks in a row and throughout the game, they played hard/well on defense. Danny's style should be better in the long run for you guys from a tempo and recruiting standpoint.
Despite the score, with some work recruiting, which Danny should be able to do very well, you guys are positioned to be much improved over the next couple of years.

Tulsa was definitely willing to play uptempo today. It didn't work out well for them though.

I still don't understand why a team in this league would want to run with us, ever. Memphis thrives off a fast paced, sloppy, and1 mixup type game. It's pure stubbornness.

Yes, Danny is going to have to go get some players. From what we saw today, they are undermanned. Perhaps this was just a sub-par game, but they just didn't appear to have the athletes or talent to run with a high level team......at least not yet.
