Notre Dame @ DePaul
Do the Irish overlook the Blue Demons with the Cuse on the horizon? Can DePaul shock the conference or will this be just another beat down? It all depends on how a running team like DePaul can do against the half court style of the veteran ND squad. The Irish had problems with a fast, high tempo team in St. John's. Can they fix those mistakes and take it to the Blue Demons?

I say yes, ND wins easily. What say you posters?

Notre Dame will win this. DePaul has had some very close games this season (and some not so much so) but they do not know how to pull off a win when it's close.

The first game was really exciting. I was surprised we let them back in the game. Every time we get a big lead we take our foot off the pedal which is not good for us since we are a fast paced team. We can't slow it down and kill the clock. We are not great shooting team yet.

DePaul might not be winning more games but anyone who has watched them the last few seasons under Purnell knows that they are improving. I see them making more strides in the new league when the competitiveness lessens a bit.

I don't think that DePaul has the type of talent they need to play the type of style that they do against solid Big East competition. There are too many teams that will handle that pressure and beat the for easy points. Just my opinion.

This is actually true, this is the first year DePaul did not have Jerry Wainwright kids..they were horrible.

ND blew a twelve point lead but was able to win in overtime.

Jack Cooley had 26 points and 16 rebounds, his 14th double/double of the season.

Mike Brey just tied Lou Carnesecca for fourth winningest coach in Big East history.
