He seems to enjoy his work. Balling up Nose Tackles and Linebackers and introducing them to a piece of ground that was formerly right behind them looks like a strong suit for Mr. Sims. He is going to look great in Green.

Great kid from Homewood.

He is an Eagle Scout and was captain of the football team and is captain of the wrestling team. Also, he was the starting center for the Alabama All-Star team.

That's some of the best video of an O lineman I've seen in while. Consistently under the pads of the guy he's blocking and knows how to finish a block. World of potential.

His wrestling technique shows. McGee needs to sign this kid quickly.

Champlin recruiting article for this weekend updated:
http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2013/..._visi.html

"Here's another couple of official visitors - Memphis/Whitehaven offensive lineman Vincent Hunter and Homewood offensive lineman Zach Sims. UAB's recruiting class right now is light on linemen."

RE: Official visit for football
Someone will need to refresh my memory of Homewood linemen, but have we had any other linemen from Homewood?

I think Cole Cubelic was a UAB commitment early on before signing with Auburn.

Of course, Robert Davis was a RB from Homewood.

Now that's an old QB name. Was he the one that got hit from behind by a car driven by David Palmer?
