What i posted early wasn't a shot at toronto or canada other than saying it is very cold there. What i'm saying is toronto seems to be one of the least popular teams among the nba. I doubt most nba fans know much about them. That's what i meant by sending him to siberia. No exposure.

I'm actually watching rudy gay play his first game for toronto. He didn't start. He missed his first wide open 3 and airballed a three. He got stripped going to the rim and bailed out by a foul call. Rudy did have two dunks on fastbreaks which is mainly how he scored here. He did have one jumper. He also failed to defend odom once. Then with time running out of the first, rudy gets the ball and holds it for a while before attempting a pass which resulted in a turnover. Pretty much he is playing like he played here.

His body language looks bad too. Got a distant look in his eyes. Got another wide open 3 and hit it. He has 10 points in 8 minutes.

Rudy was a college star and got banished to Memphis. Memphis gets good, but he is out with an injury when they do. Things never perfectly mesh when he returns, so he is traded to the black hole Raptors. He goes from competing for a top 3 seed to being back on a horrible team no one watches. Im not surprised he looks distant. I feel for him. Hope he can do well and learn to enjoy being the best on his team.
