The Fighting Grimace fans are so insightful.
Dumb decision by the kid but he still graduated in 3.5 years.

Only reason I posted that was because you said you had shut me up.
No one can do that.

Nore have ECU fans acted like Shamarr was a saint. We've all said Bowden's actions crossed the line.
But, here's what get me, he was suspended for 1 game, but that doesn't mean is or will return to starting line-up or play rotation right after. Has it ever crossed your minds that Bowden will have to earn his way back? Or he has to do things in practice to earn Lebo's trust back and earn minutes? He was suspended, which is the out house, now he get to move to the dog house, then he'll be allowed back into the main house after he proves himself.

RE: Charlotte's DeMario Mayfield Suspended Indefinitely
threads like this just miss the point, IMHO. the "non-elite" conferences* ought to be turning on the allegedly "elite" conferences, not each other.
I see this in NC and TX . . . in fact, C-USA has inherited a fully fledged grudgefuck with UTSA vs. the whole litany of TX programs that dislike them (for reason that, as far as I am able to ascertain, have something to do with free chicken).
we need to stop throwing rocks at each other, and throw them at the people that are part of the problem. we are playing into their hands.
*and, just in case you were wondering, nBE members, you are decidedly "non-elite".

It happens in NC, Texas, Florida, and California because those are the 4 biggest recruiting states with the most schools. After UNC and NC State ECU's next target is Charlotte because we've had that history in CUSA v1. No love lost and it's always a battle.
I truthfully wish ECU/Char was in the same conference cause that would be add another football game our fans would get up for. We would've had 4 OOC games, Marshall, USM, UCF, ODU, and Charlotte yearly that the fans would eat up. Now we're down to 4 OOC games, UCF, USF, and maybe 1 or 2 more and not even sure which conference our Olympic Sports are going to.
With that said, don't expect your* fans to bash on a player of an opposing team and then not expect it back when one of your* players gets suspended. Eye for an eye.
*Directing it in general

This is as Charlotte/ECU thing. However, if an ACC dolt came in and started bashing ECU I'd imagine most Charlotte fans would immediately have ECU's back. Yeah, it's like that.

Maybe you didn't pretend he was a saint, but you did try to make excuses as to why he did what he did. I haven't seen any Niner fans take up for one of our guys making a stupid, stupid decision. That's how that kind of phrase works, bit of a hyperbole. Maybe I should have typed it with a stutter and slow drawl so you could have understood it better.

No I didn't, I said I understood why he got mad, not why he threw punches. I've said several times that his actions wen't way too far.
