Poor guy. That's sports though. Amazing how it enthralls fans. This guy had to be out of college and yet still held on to that boyhood fascination of a "hero."

Prince probably paid that guy and made sure it was on video.

Prince fan coming to Memphis

Hours after the three-team trade that sent Rudy Gay out of Memphis and brought Tayshaun Prince into town was completed on Jan. 30, a video began to make the rounds on the Internet. It was of a fan at the Pistons-Pacers game wearing a Prince jersey staring into the tunnel where the Detroit team had just entered the floor, waiting for his favorite player who wouldn't come out.

That man, Cory Brandt, is in Memphis this weekend in a trip organized by The Commercial Appeal in conjunction with the Grizzlies. He'll be sitting courtside at the Grizzlies' 5 p.m. game Sunday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Prince didn't disappoint tonight either going 8/8 shooting.

I was sitting pretty close to the guy last night. He and his family were loving every minute of it. Pretty awesome thing done by the CA and Grizz

They showed video on the broadcast of Prince coming out and talking to him and signing the jersey. He was still wearing a KY tshirt under his new Grizz jersey - but hey, its a start.

Kudos to the Grizz and CA for this.
