National Signing Day for Conference USA!
"Unleash The Dragon" would like to learn more about each C-USA school's plans for February 6, or National Signing Day. What each school plans on doing, who is each program most excited about the prospect of getting to play football for their beloved school, etc. Whatever within reason you all feel like sharing that will add to the betterment of the upcoming experience, we will be glad to bring it up on the air.

Thanks!

RE: National Signing Day for Conference USA!
This is the 2nd Annual Signing day event for FAU.

Last years was quite the success and a lot of fun to attend. They show video's of the players and a coach sits at your table for dinner and answers any questions you have. I was able to ask our new OC last year about the offense and how he saw current and future players fitting in.

Marshall is having a National Signing Day Party sponsored by the Big Green Scholarship Foundation for Big Green and QB Club members from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at the Marshall Memorial Student Center.

Doc will be introducing the new coaching staff and each new member of the Class of 2013 and showing some of their highlights.

Marshall's rivals site will be hosting a live chat during the day discussing each member of the Class of 2013 as their LOIs are received at the Shewey Building.

RE: National Signing Day for Conference USA!
I get that Charlotte is not here yet but we are pretty excited about it and everything is new to us. On 2/7 we will hold our 2nd Annual Signing Day Chalk Talk where many hundreds will gather in the hospitality room above Halton Arena for dinner and drinks, and the coaches will go through their recruits one-by-one. They will talk about the kid, tell funny stories about recruiting them, and show highlight films.

When your team is not yet playing I guess you look for opportunities to have a football event, but I hope this one continues.

University of Houston swoops in to make 11th-hour offer to QB and ODU commit Shane McCarley. He said no. Will blog about it shortly.

ECU has a Signing Day party that is usually sold out that is reasonably priced at 15 dollars. Hours before the event alot of people usually tailgate before the signing day party. Ive been to a signing day party one time but havent in a few years due to being farther away from Greenville.

At UTEP, we do nothing. The SID ensures that the media receive no information until the end of the signing period, when details of the complete class are released.

RE: National Signing Day for Conference USA!
We managed to share most of this information on the air yesterday, on behalf of myself and everyone at Blazeradio, thank you again. Our station manager listened in and loved it. Students and younger kids congregated near the station and took in the conversation and the music, the small fries erupted in jubilation during the conversation about who would win the Super Bowl, when I picked the Ravens, they jumped up and cheered, I wish I'd invited them to say a few words...It was a special moment in time and you all contributed mightily to it...
