Alabama would sell out the Georgia Dome. Tennessee would as well.

I think Panama's right, if you're a Bama or Tennessee fan traveling to an away game would you travel to Atlanta to see them play GSU or Athens to play UGA? (no offense Panrthers). I'm sure there's plenty of alumni from any SEC team living in Atl adn GSU fans would certainly get up for it.

Its not about seeing Georgia State, its about seeing Alabama play and affordable prices compared to a normal SEC game.

We played Alabama at Tuscaloosa in 2010. Thousands of Bama season ticketholders sold their tickets to that game because it was against Georgia State. The game was also not a sellout. Attendance for our game against Tennessee in 2012 was 87, 821 or over 15k empty seats. If 35k people or so by tickets for the Chik Fil A Bowl to watch their SEC team face another Power 5 conference opponent, youre telling me that that many or more will buy tickets for a meaningless game against GSU? I am flattered you think so.

I don't know what the attendance would be like. But I see his point. Folks will be able to see Alabama at GSU's ticket prices, not Alabama's. I'm sure GSU's ticket prices are cheaper than those at Bryant-Denny, Neyland, or for the Chick Fil A games.
