03-lmfao Have you 2 been smoking crack? Good news is we get more than 4 points in the first half(I hope) but to expect the Huskies to win or even hold it close is living in a fantasy world.

75-45 KSU.

RE: NIU/KSU predictions
KSU just lost to Ohio by one and only lost by 4 to Akron, so they've played some good teams tough...and they've also lost to BGSU by 15. KSU has also been pretty good on the road this year.

The Flashes have two pretty good scorers (Chris Evans who shoots really well and Randall Holt, they combine for about 25 shots per game. Both hit free throws too.) and if NIU can slow them down, they've got a shot. It's a nice inside/outside combo; it's not easy to stop.

The Flashes aren't a high assist team, so shutting these two guys down looks like the key.

Evans is also a good rebounder, but it looks to me like NIU can win the rebounding war.

NIU responded well to their last seppuku game, hopefully it happens again in this one.

This matchup is better than the EMU one, but predicting what this team will do (other than struggle to score, usually) is torture. Defend their two main scorers without fouling too much (deny them ball when you can), rebound, and hope a few shots fall, and NIU can win.

The MAC is hosting this game (MAC) and I think they go with the home feed usually, so you can get your Bill Baker on.

Dont you figure Robert coming off that last performance, NIU will play its best basketball of the season, it happened with CMU after the WMU performance, I expect the same tomorrow night.

I saw that. I wonder if they'll use those cards to market to those people? Seems like it would be the perfect opportunity. Then again, how many business cards will they get?

RE: NIU/KSU predictions
I bought two of those ten-pack tickets for $10 each before the season. I still have all 20 tickets. I can't get any of my friends/relatives to go to the games with me. That may change this weekend. Two of our friends are supposed to join us for the game against Toledo - unless, of course, they read the national press on our last game and decide to gracefully back out.

It does seem promising. Maybe they are already considering Stirling's idea of selling blocks of tickets to companies?

RE: NIU/KSU predictions
Here is what I know. Kent struggles in the half court offense. They don't have anyone that distributes the ball very well, and their team is not committed to rebounding the ball. That's the good news for NIU. The bad news is they are scary talented when playing in transition and/or when they break down their defenders one on one.

Considering that kent is one of the less disciplined teams in the MAC, NIU has a decent chance at pulling an upset. Short memories pay dividends.

NIU 68
Kent 62

*The crazy MAC regular season continues...

A lot of us bought 20 tickets for $20 to give to friends. Like you, I am having a problem giving away the free tickets to friends.

In all reality, if you keep trying to give them away to friends you won't have any friends left.

Then again, how many of them would want to be bothered by a telemarketer from NIU target them at their place of work? Especially, if they were supposed to be working and not going to a b-ball game. 03-shhhh
