Question on Navy joining nBE in 2015
Have I missed anything that would preclude Navy from joining the nBE a year early in 2014?

They have booked up their OOC years out. Navy doesn't want to join before 2015. However, nothing other than contract buyouts prevents them.

Well until they join the nBE aren't ALL their games OOC?

Several months ago, someone on this board posted a link to an article that said Navy has to fulfill the requirements of their TV contract before joining. I don't remember what the specifics were, but basically that's what the deal was.

RE: Question on Navy joining nBE in 2015
Is Navy being brought in for ALL SPORTS or just FOOTBALL??? ESPN bottom ticker stated it as if they were joining in 2015 in both basketball as well as football and the Big East was looking for a 12th member. So are they not football only and if not when did this status quo change???

Yeah, it's expensive to buy out 8 games a year.
