Martin will get them there but that team is abysmal.

Seriously OT but.

I looked at a few old threads related to the Kennedy / Ole Miss topic and found this little gem:

The real beauty of it is that it will ring just as true in another 2.5 years.

AK and his abysmal nonhoops school and choke down the stretch coaching style just won an sec tourney title. I'm guessing he's not getting pink slip any time soon. Can almost hear some of the haters choking on their own bile right now.

Bobinski commented that Ole Miss was in regardless of whether or not they won the SEC title, so apparently he saved his job.

You seem to have a problem with people expressing valid opinions that differ from your own. Kennedy's job was on the bubble. Up until last week, most pundits called Ole Miss one of the "First Four Out." Are they "haters," too?

You need too move your behind-the-times brain out of the Huggins era and modernize. Your banter is stale.

Are you kidding me. My post wasnt directed at pundits or posters who thought they were out. That was a legit position to take and accurate. It was directed at those who actively root against AK, Huggs and anyone who is part of that past and who have been almost gleefully predicting their downfalls all season long aka the haters. Theres a difference there and if you cant see it, youre frigging blind.
And Ive long since left the Huggins era and have been with Mick since day one. I just don't see the need to join the piss on Huggs and anything remotely related to Huggs train which you appear to be firmly aboard. So piss off and don't tell what I should or shouldnt post.

I root against him actively. Then again, I tend to root agaist racist doosh nozzles.

Funny, people that root for him don't bother me a bit. To each his own.

No, YOU haven't left the Huggins era. I post objective numbers and recount written history of AK, and I'm "firmly aboard" the hater train. Nothing I said was innaccurate or even remotely caustic.

This is the problem here. I never even mentioned what he did in Downtown Cincinnati, or how he actively encouraged Downey to leave UC, etc. I merely stated history. But with people like you on this board, one cannot post RPI numbers, analyze wins/losses, or recount newspaper articles on Kennedy's prospects as a candidate as a head coach for lesser schools?

You've seemed more than a bit sensitive about anything remotely negative about Kennedy from the getgo. You have a right to love him; others have legitimate rights to not like him. Let it go. Get your head out of Huggins'/Kennedy's butt. It's 2013.

With that said, it looks like Kennedy has saved his butt with the last two games.

Let it go? Looks who keeps it going. I've never even addressed one of your silly a$$ posts on this until you went off on me the other day, so not sure why you're getting personal with me. But since you are let me set it straight for you yet again. The only time I've brought either huggs or ak up is in response to revisionist bullcrap or flat out nasty bashing of them.
I'm a life long ucat, a two time graduate who has supported mick from day one. I'm at nearly every game, putting my money up for season tix for football and basketball and rooting for mick and our players. Where are at you big guy? and who are you to tell me how to support uc. Don't try to cast me as one of the idiotic few who yearn for Huggs second coming. It ain't me, sorry. Maybe you could call lance though, he seems about as obsessed with those folks as you are.

That dude has a screw loose. That was a good game though. Back and forth. Ole miss has some beef down low and they got some big buckets late, then Lasalle just wouldn't give up and kept making big shots. Fun college game to watch. Between that game, the OSU game and the Miami game, those were all great down the stretch. Miami has to keep winning or my bracket is dead.

Oh yeah there have been some wild, fun games. Bummer that OSU scraped by though. I need Miami and Kansas and Louisville.

Tough shot by the LaSalle guard to win the game. Very exciting game yesterday.

Also, first sweet 16 for LaSalle since the 1950's.
